This passive solar home in the EcoVillage allows the owners to live very comfortably on just the sun and rain that fall on the roof. Designed by Energy Architecture of Adelaide, it received the 2006 design award for ESD (Domestic) from the SA Institute of Architects. It is often available for tours - but it's just one of many interesting, innovative homes that can be seen.
SUSTAINABLE
HOUSE DAY
is held every year in September.
It’s a great time to come to the Village
for tours of our innovative energy- and water-saving
homes.
