Deletion of "spent" notices in the News Feed

Our website is gradually becoming larger over
time as data is added. To avoid maintenance
problems arising, I will need to begin a more
active program of pruning files. This will
initially involve deleting “spent” items from the
News section.
From now on, I will be deleting notices of sale, swap, give-away, loan, topical comment required, etc, after one month - unless you give me a specific different instruction with your item.
(Event notices are, of course, deleted once the event has occurred.)
Please let me know if this is going to be a problem to anyone.
