REMINDER: Feedback needed on 'Community Credits' (and check feedback so far)

Thanks to those who have already given us feedback on the four questions in the survey on a possible "Community Credits" scheme; BUT - we need more than the 20 responses received so far. If you have mislaid the survey form, here are the questions again:

1. Are you willing, in principle, to commit to a certain annual amount of volunteer work for the community?
2. Would you be willing, in principle, to make an annual monetary donation in lieu of volunteer work?
3. Would you prefer to see some non-monetary form of "value exchange" (e.g., LETS) used for a "community credits" scheme?
4. Do you have any other comment on the general principle of a 'community contributions' concept?

If you would like to have a look at responses so far, check the ATTACMENT: "Responses to CC survey [1].pdf"

Send your answers and comments to Elizabeth Heij for collating BY TUESDAY 5 DECEMBER: Email: elizabethh4@internode.on.net, 14 Hakea Walk, Aldinga, SA 5173.

Important - Your feedback needed for discussion of a Community Credits scheme

When the village was established, a number of principles were set out so that the village would be human-friendly, environmentally sustainable (Permaculture), and art-friendly. These principles were set out in documents given to lot purchasers and provide a framework for action in the village. It was the intention that cooperation between villagers be
an essential part of this. At the recent AGM, the Community resolved to follow up the voluntary work-or-pay "Community Contributions" concept as a way to deal with a variety of management and development tasks and thus limit the upwards pressure on levies.

As a first step, to give us some idea of the general willingness of people to participate in such a scheme, please can you answer the four simple questions in the attached survey and return your answers as instructed in the attachment. Your reply is essential to advance this discussion.
