Olearia Walk - Erosion rectification

News
Water run-off down the Olearia Walk hillside,
combined with vehicular intrusion onto the road
verges at the top and bottom of the hill, have
caused major run-off / erosion problems from the
road and extending into the car parking area
adjacent Wayne and Jenni's house (Lot 42). If
this is not addressed, major road carriage and
verge damage will occur.
I have inspected the areas many times and consulted with Villagers and with Stefan Glockner in particular. I now propose one or all of the following, as appropriate to rectify this growing problem:
* A mixture of concrete with embedded cobble stone (like the entry to our Village),
* An in-fill of gravel / concrete as installed in Stage 3, and/or
* Installation of a spoon drain system to transport the water flow into the drains at the bottom of Olearia Walk.
To this end:
* Stefan Glockner is talking with a local earth moving contractor to gauge the earth moving needs and provide a quote;
* Stefan is also considering how he, and other Villagers may be involved - and paid - to assist with this construction work.
I welcome any comments, ideas and considerations on how to rectify this problem and practical, cost-effective ways to implement the much-needed repairs.
