A bout of mad cycling enthusiasm has
undertaken us at The Black Cockatoo Arthouse
& Oxygen Cycles - we’ve
teamed up to present a Tour De France special
THIS Saturday night!
We’ll be presenting not only the the wonderful French animated comedy, THE TRIPLETS OF BELLEVILLE by Sylvain Chomet (2003), but we’ll also put live coverage of Stage 7 of the Tour de France (race details) on our big screen as well! So if you're in a TDF frame of mind and want to come see a wonderful film and stick around for the live action of the great race then this Saturday night at The Black Cockatoo Arthouse is where you want to be!

A young boy is raised by his grandmother, Madame Souza, in the French countryside. She buys him a bicycle and encourages his dream of winning the Tour de France. However, he gets kidnapped by a group of Mafia gangsters and taken to the big city of Belleville, where he is used for his bicycling prowess in an elaborate gambling scheme. Along with her faithful companion Bruno, Madame Souza sets out to rescue her grandson. They befriend a trio of aging musicians who were once the '30s jazz trio known as The Triplets of Belleville.
