Peace Day comes to Pizza Night in September

Because Peace Day (21 September) falls in the
same week as this month’s regular Pizza Night (24
September) we will be combining the two
celebrations on Friday 24
September.
We will be showing the movie “Peace One Day” - the documentary of the story of Jeremy Gilley's attempts to persuade the global community via the United Nations to sanction officially a day without conflict; a ceasefire day; a global day of Peace.
The Pizza Night will start at 5.30 with the movie being shown in the Sharing Shed at 7pm (running for 80 minutes). Please bring a bean bag if you wish
We are also inviting villagers and friends to write a message of peace and to pin it onto a piece of fabric that we (CDC) will provide. We will also have pieces of card, pens and pins if you wish to write it on the night, otherwise please bring something along with you.
Any queries, please contact me on 8556 6459 or email.
